Physical Description

The scabbard is of wood covered with worn red velvet. At the mouth are two raised bands bordered by piping if gold and red. A similar piping covers the seam down the rear face. The chape is of iron and terminates in a small lotus bud. The surface is decorated with foliage and borders in silver.
