Physical Description

It has a low neck and a medial keel terminating in a point at the waist, which has a flange. At either side of the chest is a mushroom-headed stud for attaching the shoulder straps. At either side of the flange are pierced studs and swivel hooks for the attachment of the tassets. At the lower left of the flange are two small holes, and there is another at the right.

Inscriptions and Marks

Struck at the neck with a crowned IR for the Arsenal of James II. Struck twice with a T for the maker. One tasset shown 6 or 7 punch marks.
