Acquired before 1859. Probably from Seringapatam, 1799.

Physical Description

The socket is in the form of a tiger's head. The underside of the neck is slotted for a bayonet stud, and a swivel retaining ring runs in a groove at the base. The head is decorated with tiger stripes. The blade is made in the form of a tiger stripe (bubri).
