Physical Description

The grip is of walrus ivory, and has a mount of nielloed silver set with green and blue glass. The blade is single edged, with a broad, ridged back.


The scabbard is of wood covered with blue velvet mounted with silver. The chape is a later restoration.

Dimensions: The length of the blade is 228 mm, the overall length of the dagger being 348 mm, the length of the scabbard being 325 mm. Weight: The weight is 0.186 kg, the weight of the scabbard being 0.13 kg.
