Physical Description

The blade is short and broad, double edged, and has a medial ridge. The hilt is of waisted form, made of horn and covered with silver filigree with studs. The scabbard is of wood covered with blue cloth, with a large chape and locket of silver filigree in a series of frames. It is fitted with a set of rings and plaited wires for attachment to a belt.
