Physical Description

The recurved blade has a heavily reinforced point. The hilt is in the form of a flattened iron loop. It is decorated in silver koftgari, and chiselled and fretted with a rosette at the centre of the knuckle guard, and attached to the blade by two rivets. The wooden scabbard is covered with black leather decorated with fine cross hatching.


Dimensions: The overall length of the dagger is 272 mm, The length of the blade is 155 mm. The length of the scabbbard is 208 mm. Weight: The weight of the dagger is 0.210 kg, the weight of the scabbard is 0.161 kg.
