Physical Description

The helmet has a one piece skull of almond shape with a pear stalk at the top. At the base of the skull is a narrow brim dipping down slightly at either side and extended into points at the front and rear. The main edge has a roped inward turn with a narrow recessed border. Around the base of either side of the skull is a row of seven brass lining rivets with washers, retaining fragments of the original lining band inside. One rivet is missing at the right. The plume holder and cheekpieces are missing. The helmet was painted black.
