Physical Description

Of ordinary leather, rough side out. The baldrick, is made of one piece. At the base is a plain iron spring clip, mounted on a rectangular loop, with a roller on the upper half. The lower front of the belt is fitted with a buckle with medial cusps, a hook and an iron hasp riveted to the belt. Below this is a similarly cusped loop for the belt end. At the terminal of the upper front portion of the belt is a small teardrop finial attached by a rivet. The upper front portion has broken away from the belt below the buckle and there is a transverse split at the rear
