Physical Description

With a raised neck and deep flange at the waist. The arm, neck and flange edges are inwardly turned. The arm and neck edges are bordered by single incised lines; the neck edge by six decorative rivets, the flange by ten. At either shoulder is a restored strap with six plates, the rear most of each being original. At either side of the waist is a restored waist strap.


At either shoulder is an extra pair of rivet holes, and at either side of the waist is another small rivet hole. The straps were restored in February 1986. The rear plates of the shoulder straps are rectangular, with a central v-shaped nick, contrasting with the usual double scallop.
