Physical Description

With a raised neck and medial keel terminating in a point at the waist, which dips down to the centre and has a narrow flange. The neck and arm edges are inwardly turned, the arm edges bordered by single incised lines. At either arm edge is a mushroom headed stud for the shoulder straps.


The right arm edge is damaged.

Inscriptions and Marks

At the neck, stamped M for the maker, helmeted A and cross of St.George for the Commonwealth. Inside, stamped TD and XXIII at the flange, and four triangular punch marks.
