Physical Description

Of main-gauche form, with triangular guard pierced and chiselled with a floral boarder, the edges turned outwards and similarly chiselled. Secured to the quillons by two small screws, one each side of the blade.
Small, pierced and chiselled ovoid pommel, original grip bound with copper wire, long straight quillons with twisted, floral terminals.
Blade is straight and back-edged for half of its length before becoming double edged. The back has decorative filed notches. The ricasso is squared and decorated with groups of punched circles on one face, the other recessed to take the thumb. A mark is stamped in the recess.
