Physical Description

The lock is of type 5 design with a pivot catch. It is held in place by 2 sidenails although there was originally 3. The sear nose is broken off and the tumbler pin has been restored using a modern nail. The main and sear springs are missing. This pistol has been entirely restocked and given a restored ramrod. The tapered octagonal barrel is held in place by 2 pins. The barrel tang has, at some time, been shortened
