Physical Description

The lock has an early French lock type tumbler and an internal steel spring. It is held in place by 2 sidenails although the lockplat is drilled for 3.


All the woodwork on this pistol has been restored.


The tapered barrel is of octagonal cross-section for its entire length and was probably designed for two retaining pins although the present stocking uses only one. The tang has been repaired across the screw hole
