Physical Description

The lock is of French lock design and held in place by 2 sidenails.


The stock shape is that of a conventional late 17C holster pistol with a buttcap that has sidebars extending almost to the lockplate. There is a restored ramrodand repairs have been made between the essutcheon and the triggerguard. The foremost 3 1/4 in. of the fore-end have been restored.


The round barrel is tappered and has balusters at the breech and 2 1/2 and 4 1/8 inch from the breech
