Physical Description

Skull made in two halves, the crown embossed with flutes radiating from the apex, surmounted by a knob with star shaped washer. Wide neck-guard of four lames. Adjustable nasal-guard with leaf shaped finial pierced with flowers and foliage, contemporary with the helmet but not original. Earpieces of three lames. the upper pierced for hearing. Blued with gilt finial, plume-holder and nasal guard socket.
