Physical Description

The blade is crescent-shaped, fretted with a heart and arabesques. It has a square socket, the corners bevelled to form round sides chiselled with eight-petalled flowers. At the rear is a spike with a knop on a moulded dome. The blade is crudely decorated in silver koftgari with a pattern of squiggles, with borders on the faces of spike. The haft is formed of a steel tube, with an onion-shaped terminal at the base. It is pierced with a small suspension hole.
