Physical Description

Designed by Swedish engineers Winborg and Palmcrantz, this five barrelled gun used a sliding handle to open the breeches simultaneously, allowing cartidges from the hopper above to drop into the chambers. Closing the handle chambered and fired the barrells simultaneuously. Pulling the handle back opened the breeches and ejected the spend cases, allowing the cycle to be repeated. The five barrels are screwed into a flat breechblock and the large ammunition hopper is locked into position above the breech. The cocking/firing lever is on the right side. The gun is fitted to a small pintle mount of Naval type
