Physical Description

Double side-by-side barrels, locks with spur-necked cocks and waterproof pans. Case hardened finish, slight engraving of foliage and game birds. The mainsprings have, scratched on the polished surface ‘Duke of York’. Blued steel mounts engraved en-suite. The silver escutcheon plate is engraved with the Royal Crest as borne by the Princes of the Blood. The gun is fitted with sling-loops.
