Physical Description

Adopted by the Italian Army in 1910, it is from that date that the name Model 1910 was given. Before then it had been previously known as the Model 1906. Chequered grip plate on right side. Grip plate on left side is smooth, both are the early Bakelite type grips prone to cracking. Magazine release at base of grip. Switch at top of grip. Cocking toggle to rear of slide. Notch and blade type sights.
