Physical Description

A converted pocket pistol of Navy calibre. This example is a Richards/Mason conversion. The rear of the cylinder has been shortened and a breech plate inserted. The right of the breech is cut away to permit cartridge ejection and a laterally moving ejector gate is attached to an integral stud. The barrel is round with brass bead foresight. The shoulder of the barrel lug has been removed and the hole for the plunger filled with Mason's patent ejctor fitted to the right of the barrel. The cylinder has the stagecoach scene engraved on it
