Physical Description

The octagonal barrel is stamped with London proof marks and engraved with the name of the maker, W.PARKER.HOLBORN.LONDON. It is held to the fore end by a slide. The lock with flat lockplate has a waterproof pan, roller frizzen spring and a safety-catch, and is engraved, W.PARKER. Stock with brass mounts; There is no butt-cap: the bow of the trigger-guard is engraved DISM- HORSE PATROLE (sic) and the front finial with No.13. Ramrod with brass tip and steel worm.
