Physical Description

Barrel originally made for a match-lock musket; it is octagonal at the breech changing to round section.
Lock similar in type to that of No.XII.63 but with steel lockplate. The disk-shaped end of the pan is engraved with the date 1690 and the lockplate with the initials G.S.
Stock with upcurved shoulder-butt ornamented with fluting. No trigger-guard is fitted. Ramrod missing
