Physical Description

With a raised neck and medial ridge terminating in a point at the waist, which dips down to the centre and has a narrow flange. The neck and arm edges are inwardly turned. At either arm there is a mushroom headed stud for the shoulder straps. There are two large suspension holes at the shoulders. At the right is a proof mark. The surface is black from the hammer and corroded.

Stamped A within a fleur-de-lys, helmeted A, a trace of a large circular mark at the right of the waist and with a construction mark of 6 dots inside.
