Physical Description

It has a raised neck, a medial ridge and a narrow flange at the waist. At either arm is a mushroom-headed stud for the shoulder straps. The neck and arm edges have plain inward turns. At the left of the ridge is a proof mark. The exterior is black from the hammer. At either shoulder is a pair of drilled suspension holes.

Inscriptions and Marks

Struck with TD for the maker, and helmeted A for the Armourers' Company of London. At the right of the flange is a large circular mark, clearly A BB over a label.
