Physical Description

It is short waisted, with a low neck, a medial ridge and a medium flange at the waist. At either arm is pierced stud and swivel hook for the shoulder straps. The main edges have plain inward turns bordered by single incised lines. The exterior is covered in layers of black paint, spot cleaned at the neck revealing the original black from the hammer finish with file marks.

Inscriptions and Marks

Stamped at the neck with crowned IR and M. On the left shoulder is stamped MA 2222. Painted 16/153 and 16/123.
