Transferred from the Rotunda Museum of Artillery, Woolich, 1974.

Physical Description

Slightly shaped to the spine. Flanged at the waist with a medial cusp. Roped inward turns. Sunken border at arm and neck. Single incised line down spine. Sprouting from either side of the waist flange is an etched floral decoration which spirals towards the spine. Has an original iron buckle at each shoulder. Black from the hammer.

Stamped on the right shoulder MA 2200. Painted in white paint on the outside is, 16/136. Inside in white paint is, H 5.
