Physical Description

Intended to be of the late fourteenth century date. Of four plates, with a reinforcing strip down the front, the ends shaped as fleurs de lys. The whole is heavily corroded but interior retains traces of its leather lining.

Notes

Acording to the 'Proceedings' it was said to have been found in the region of Sevenoaks, Kent.
Rather better quality than usual Pratt pieces and apparently C.R.Beard thought it might be genuine.
