Purchased as part of a group of 4 items including IX.5510, IX.5511 and IX.5512. These items were purchased by the donor from a beneficiary of the late Ron Anderson. 30 March 2002.

Physical Description

Single edged, double fullered blade. Hilt of brass-coloured metal, with an imperial eagle in relief, pierced into the hilt. Dark-coloured, ribbed grip with metal, crowned monogram attached. Scabbard of metal, painted black. Scabbard loop to one side and belt loop to rear of scabbard.
