Physical Description

composite bow bearing traces of original 'snake skin' covering, bound to the tiller by a cord bridle. Tiller of wood wholly veneered with plain bone ornamented with straight engraved lines. Horn nut released by long curved lever-type trigger of iron. Beyond the nut the tiller tapers to the butt and is pierced by a steel bar to retain the loop of the cranequin.
