Inscriptions and Marks

Screw heads marked S25. Below the cylinder in engraved Mre d'Armes St Etienne. All the main parts are stamped H41825. The barrel is marked Mre 1873, S.1881 with an M and T below both in circles. There are a number of stamps on the body; M, G and B in shield backgrounds, C and B with dot above each in a tent shaped background, a crown above a p in an oval, an L in a double oval. Near the base of the grip are two stamps plus 64
