Transferred via Amnesty 1946 from COD Weedon. (Weedon being the central collection point for all Police forces and surrendered weapons.) Authority for tranfer and issue is under War Office file no. GS(W)2/BM50/1 dated 5th April 1951.

Physical Description

Adapted to take Silver & Fletcher's patent The Expert. A patent Hammer safeety and extraction system. Originally the weapon was blued with polished trigger, hammer, loading gate and ejector. The one piece chequred wooden grip is fitted with a lanyard ring and is stamped 12 at the top
