Accessioned or re-accessioned from Middle Flint Tower, 1987. Probably from one of the armours formerly on loan 7 to Dover Castle (II.53-62), from Malta, 1826.

Physical Description

The narrow flat brim has a roped edge with an inward turn and a narrow sunken border. Around the base of the skull are fifteen rivet holes. The small pear-stalk is slightly flattened, and there is a repair inside the keel at the rear.
