Physical Description

An early production Army, with the fluted cylinder produced only for a short time after introduction. The round barrel is blued and the loading lever is also blued and the rebated fluted cylinder has traces of blueing. The triggerguard and buttstrap are nickle plated. The barrel wedge is a modern replacement. There is provision for the attachment of a shoulder stock. Grips are one piece polished walnut peculiar to the Army model, rather than the usual Navy pattern.
