Provenance

Transferred from the National Army Museum (no. 5903.118), August 1966. Said to have been captured from a Turkish officer at 'Afule, Palestine' in 1917; presented by Brigadier General Lance.

Physical Description

It was originally nickel plated with engraved borders to the frame and cylinder. The grip is heavily cased in silver filigree and set with coral and turquoise, and has a niello cartouche.
