Found in the River Nenagh Co. Tipperary, Ireland in June 1957. Purchased in September 1957.

Physical Description

Lock of early form with scear engaging with the tail of the cock in the full-cock position. The lock may have been originally made a snaphaunce and been converted to normal flint-lock some twenty years later.
Stock of brass with facetted, lemon-shaped butt, the surface engraved with panels of conventional foliage.
