Physical Description

The blade is single-edged and square ended, with two fullers running parallel to the back. The wooden hilt is long and straight, tapering to the pommel. The section nearest the blade is painted red with a foliage diaper; next is a section covered in brass embossed with seven reeded ridges; beside this is a silver-covered section embossed with a foliage diaper. Another matching section is adjacent to the pommel, which is covered in plain metal.
