Physical Description

Leaf shaped blade widening sharply towards the base to create rudimentary side wings. The blade has been made from a cut down sword blade is marked VOC for the Dutch East India Company and with an A for Amsterdam issue. The socket under the head is of engraved brass. The shaft is of dark wood like XXVIL.17. _

Dimensions: The overall length of the spear is 2050 mm, the length of the blade being 275 mm. Weight: The weight of the spear is 1.2 kg.
