'We think that there is plenty of room for such a society, the existing clubs - Kernoozers, Meyrick, etc. - having lapsed into mere excuses for gormandizing.',
1922/2: Letter from F.M. Kelly to 'Dear Mann', dated 24/3/1922, discussing the remnants of paint on an effigy in the V&A, offering notes on armour in connection with JGM's thesis and asking whether there are illustrations of the side details of the effigy at Pershore,
