Scope and Content

Before a paratroop jump there is a great deal of the most careful preparatory work to be done. Men cannot jump and land safely carrying guns and other heavy equipment, they must be dropped separately. Such equipment is packed in special containers fastened underneath the plane. The paratroops enter the plane, it takes off (probably at night) and the men prepare to make their jumps over the right spot. they must jump very quickly, one after another, so that they land close together on the ground. Picture shows: The Paratroops follow each other through the door at extremely short intervals. A number of them in various stages of falling.
