A report by the Commissioners upon the petition of the workmen armourers for payment of wages 'for their service in the office of Armoury within the Tower of London to the first of March instant', for which we humbly move (in regard of their poverty) that order may be given for payment out of the Treasury of the Navy'. 'Genll. Disbrowe is desired to report the same', Lists the following names: Richard Alliston; Samuel Ashton; Solomon Liptharp (all owed ú50 08s. 09d.); Richard Ray (ú47 08s. 09d.); John Atmore (ú38 00s. 09d.), Endorsed: 'Report from ye. Comrs. of the Adty. concerning the Armourers. read & reported by Ma. G. Disbrowe & ordered 3 mar. 1653.' 'The Report of the poor Labourer Armorers'.
