'A ground plan of the Church of St. Peter ad Vincula in the Tower of London (shewing the tombs), taken in July 1842' previous to the alteration of the pews, by William Walter Burch, Clerk and Sexton', An outline floor-plan of the chapel, showing the location of the various tombs, with the names of their owners where these were known. The outlines of some brasses are indicated, but with no names attached, general tombstones are outlined, but left anonymous. The positions of the following tombs or monuments are shown: Sir Richard Cholmondeley; Sir Richard and Sir Michael Blount; Sir Allan Apsley; George Paylor; Sir James Moore; Talbot Edwards; William Bridges; the Lords Balmerino, Lovat and Kilmarnock, The other tombs shown are presumably those of various 18th and early 19th century Tower or Ordnance officials and their families: familiar names inlcude Silvester, Col. Williamson, Elrington, and Porrett. As at least two monuments are shown dated 1845, the plan must have been added to and completed well after the date given in its title
