This book, kept in a standard foolscap Stationery Office book no. E.4565, gives a day by day brief record of the Armouries, including the work of packing and dispatching the armour out of London in August/Sept. 1939 and the return of armour from Caernarvon and New Barn in April and May 1945. Kept in at least three different hands, the last of which, from May 1946, is that of A.N. Kennard. Listed among other occurrences are: the incendiary bombs which fell on the Tower in 1940 and 1941; the flying bombs in July and August 1944; and the beginnings of the redisplay of the collection These books follow on from the 'Diary', Archives I.188, kept by Charles ffoulkes, January 1913 to December 1938.
